A Council meeting approved the building of 13 cottages in Lennox Street and Priory Road, and eight houses on Priory Road, in the garden at the rear of Pynlimmon House. The News of 30 July reported that property and land belonging to Charles Coleman on the West Hill was sold for £6,700. [This was a large area, north and south of the junction of Priory Road and Croft Road, including the former windmill on the southern corner, the Mill Hill Lodge and cottage.]
