Mission Hall Opens

The new Railway Mission Hall in Portland Steps (between Portland Place and the junction of Stonefield Road and Castle Hill Road) was officially opened on Thursday 28 April. [After the Second World War it was renamed the St Mary-in-the-Castle Parish Hall.]
