New Lord Warden

The Marquis of Dufferin and Ava was installed in the ancient office of Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports, at the Court of Shepway, on 22 June. Hastings was represented by the mayor (Alderman Tree) plus two aldermen and four councillors.
